Joe to Pro Cycling

In 2009 I'd been inactive for 8 years, had just turned 30, weighed 240 lbs and had enough. This blog is the journey of starting brand new in the sport of cycling, regaining fitness and aiming to compete in the Elite ranks of Amateur racing.

Problem: Late night eating adding calories to your diet and plateauing your weight loss?
    Solution: Go to bed earlier.

Description: Seriously, more sleep isn’t going to hurt you. OR, if you only have so much time for sleep switching when you are awake to the times you eat less is another way to make it work. For me I don’t have a problem controlling my diet from morning to early evening. It is from 8pm on that I go on a stupid binge adding from 300-1500 calories on the day. By going to sleep at 9pm I get up earlier for training and the day’s tasks - and avoid unnecessary calories.

For those that will say it’s not that simple - some times it really is.

The 3 Reason’s You Need to Try Cyclocross in Oklahoma City (and the details on OKC Practice Races this year) http://charleysbicyclelab.com/2012/the-3-reasons-you-need-to-try-cyclocross-in-oklahoma-city/

    One day I will die.
And I will leave with people the impression of how I’ve treated them.
Everyday is its own last chapter of this story.
Of tragedies and comedies and victories and despair.
How will people remember your last chapter?
Will it be full of compassion, love, friendship and honor?
Or full of deceit, manipulation, self-serving actions and things that now belong to someone else?
Will people talk of how I gave my last to help a friend? Or how I took their last in litigation?
Will I fade with regret or in contentment that my affections are known, story full, and conscience clear?
Will I have lived or existed?

    Trust your body.
